I filmed Mary in the beginning of August, in 2004.
It was an independent short film that I loved being a part of. The
crew were some of the nicest people I've ever worked with. One day
when we were almost wrapped, my family and I were going to take in a
movie. My mom was trying to figure out what we could all see, when
the 2nd A.D. suggested "Napoleon Dynamite." He then told my mom
secretly, that my director, Aaron Ruell was Kip (Napoleon's brother), in
the movie, and that it's a great film. So we went, and as I was
watching, Aaron appeared on screen. I almost jumped out of my seat,
I was so excited and surprised! It was a great moment. Aaron
is such a wonderful director, and a very kind person. I would love
to work with him again. His wife Julia, who is so nice as well,
appeared in the film, and also did the editing.
